Although we will be returning to the building on Sunday mornings, we have decided to keep our Christmas services online, so that everyone can join us wherever they are and whoever they are with, and we can all sing along to the carols with as much skill and enthusiasm as we possess. (In the case of our minister, that will be considerably more of the latter than the former!) You can find out more of what we have planned below.
December 13 | 3pm | Crafts and Carols
This is our Messy Christmas! Expect a special retelling of the Christmas story, a few carols that will be familiar to anyone who has spent time in a primary school in the past thirty years, and some suggestions for how you can make Christmas messy at home, complete with "here's one I made earlier" demonstrations.
December 20 | 6pm | Carols and Readings
Our online carol service will feature music and readings from members of the congregation. Why not make it carols by candlelight, by lighting your own candles when you watch it at home?
December 24 | 10pm | Christmas Eve Communion
As it turns midnight in Bethlehem, join us for this short service of carols and reflections. It will include an invitation to share in communion, so come ready with food and drink for this special Christmas feast.
December 25 | 10am | Christmas Morning Celebration
Bring in Christmas morning with some more favourite carols and a chance to marvel again at the wonderful story of Jesus' birth.
The services will appear on our blog and Vimeo page at the times above, and we would love for you to watch then if possible, but they will remain online if you prefer to watch later.
